Handle a scheduling conflict

When two jobs land on the same slot, Lever flags it so you can fix it before it becomes an awkward call.

About 2 minUpdated Jul 2026

Double-booking is the fastest way to burn goodwill. Lever watches your calendar and warns you the moment two things overlap, so you can sort it out early instead of on the doorstep.

Spot the clash

  1. Watch for the conflict flag

When you book something over an existing job — or two jobs run into each other — Lever flags the overlap right there on your calendar.

These two overlap — move one?
  2. Move one of them

Reschedule the one that’s easier to shift, and let the customer know. Sorting it a few days out is a quick text; sorting it on the day is a problem.

Avoid it next time

Leave a little travel-and-buffer time between jobs when you book. A back-to-back day looks efficient until the first job runs long and topples the rest.
